VTB buys 276 bln rbl of OFZ bonds at Fin Ministry’s Wed auction
MOSCOW, Apr 15 (PRIME) -- Russia's second biggest lender VTB bought 276 billion rubles of OFZ government bonds at an auction of the Finance Ministry on Wednesday, which accounted for 71.9% of the placed amount.
"While bidding, we did not try to get a significant premium to the secondary market, which allowed the Finance Ministry to satisfy them," Deputy CEO Vyacheslav Tomashevsky said as cited in the statement.
The Finance Ministry placed 383.75 billion rubles of bonds on Wednesday. Demand totaled 510.64 billion rubles.
